Grupo Bimbo Establishes Valdosta, Georgia, Bakery

News Items Grupo Bimbo, a leading global baking company, will establish a production facility in Valdosta, Georgia. The $200 million project is expected to create 295 jobs. The new facility will be located at the Westside Business Park, a Georgia Ready for Accelerated Development (GRAD) certified site, in Lowndes County. "Since Grupo Bimbo joined our Georgia family of international companies last year, they have been a strong community partner and premier employer in the Valdosta region," said GDEcD Commissioner Pat Wilson.
